Looking to get involved at Suncrest?
You’ve come to the right place!
Listed below are all the places at Suncrest we need people like you!
Get ready to be used by God to change lives!
In The Classroom
You don’t have to be a teacher by profession to teach in this environment, but you do have to love God, love kids, and want to be used in their lives!
First Impressions For Kids
We only get to make one first impression! We’re looking for some great ‘first faces’ to welcome newcomers, as well as all of the families who call Suncrest home.
We’re looking for some high-energy folks to bring the day’s lesson to life and lead kids in worship each week! Must love being up front.
There are lots of things to sort, cut, gather and put away in SuncrestKids. If organization is your thing, consider joining our prep team!
Hospitality, Greeters and Hub
We aim to create welcoming environments for our guests through hospitality, greeting, and providing information at the Hub.
Engaging in conversations with people before and after services helps people feel connected, and can make a large church feel small. You will also help with other service elements that help facilitate a distraction-free worship experience.
Pierce Middle School
If you enjoy working with students, become a mentor and/or tutor to a student during a weekday afternoon.
Sojourner Truth House
This opportunity brings hope and help for homeless and at-risk women and children. We are looking for volunteers who can dedicate a few hours to help sort food and clothes, as well as individuals who would be comfortable teaching life-skills or providing childcare on a weekly-basis during the day.
Habitat For Humanity
Join us in giving back to our community during the day by providing quality customer service in the ReStore Shop, sorting donations and preparing them for resale. Cash register experience is a plus.
Middle School Ministry
This distinctly middle school environment meets on Thursday nights from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM in the Annex and places a high value on small groups, teaching, and fun. Caring adults ensure that every student is known, valued, and loved on their journey of becoming 4C followers of Jesus.
High School Ministry
An intentionally high school centered environment meets on Sunday nights from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM in the Annex where students are known, valued, and loved. Caring adults walk alongside, encourage, and lead students to take next steps in all 4Cs through small groups, teaching, and fun.
Share your musical or vocal gifts that the Lord has given you to help lead our church in worship, both musically and visually from the platform.
Behind The Scenes
If you are tech savvy, we would love for you to help us out behind the scenes. We need volunteers who can prepare and project on-screen lyrics and videos, have a good ear for sound or an eye for lighting to create the ideal worship experience.
If you are a caring and positive person, there is an opportunity for you to pray with others following each worship service.
For each worship service to happen seamlessly, we need volunteers who can provide a helping hand to set up our worship space, medical/emergency help or security assistance when needed.
