Suncrest is a community of people who are searching for hope and value in our stories. We all have unique chapters that have crafted us into who we are today. We honor authenticity in our community. We know that in each of our stories there contains both tragedy and triumph and we believe that God has been, and always will be, actively involved in every stroke of the pen.
We also know that our stories need a rescuer. We need a God who works within us to create changed lives. We know that’s what God does. That’s what He is doing. And we will celebrate real people with real change every chance we get. This is your story. This is our story.

So maybe you’ve never come to church before in your life. Maybe you’re thinking of coming back for the first time in years. It can definitely be uncomfortable. That’s why this page is here. We at Suncrest are passionate about making sure that no matter where you’re at on the whole church or Jesus thing that you at least know what to expect when you come so that you can be comfortable and engaged as we worship and learn about Jesus together.
- You can expect something that’s culturally relevant. The Bible was written in the common language of the people at the time; If God came on this earth and communicated in a way that was relevant to everyone, then we want to do that as well through the music we play, to the topics we talk about, and even to the way we teach the way of Jesus.
- You can expect to be told about Jesus. We’re cool with you joining us no matter where you are on your faith journey, whether that means you’ve been a believer for years or you’re just checking things out. But regardless, we believe the most important thing we can do is share the message of Jesus and the hope he gives.
- You can expect an awesome experience for your kids. Suncrest was built on children’s ministry, and we’re all about making sure that it is a place where your kids can learn about God in an environment that’s not only safe, but also crazy fun.
- You can expect to have some fun. We believe that wherever Jesus is, there is a lot of life. At Suncrest Walkerton , we want to create a culture where we laugh and just have a great time doing life together.
