Have you ever had the experience of listening to a great message on Sunday, only to forget it come Monday?  Each week we post a reflection, from various people, on the past Sunday’s message.  A quick comment on what they learned and how it affected them.  Hopefully, this will help us all hold on to what God has for us to apply to our lives.  Click here for Beyond Sunday.

Community Group Leaders:  Join us for a brief lunch at 12:30 PM on Sunday, September 12^th at the St. John Campus.  We’ll update you on plans for fall, and connect you with resources for a successful fall launch to your group.  Anyone interested in leading a group at Suncrest is also encouraged to attend.  RSVP emailing Cindy Barker. 

Attention all Ladies!  Experience fellowship, fun, worship, and food with Morning Grace, a community group designed for women to discuss biblically-based books.  We’ll begin our fall session with a kick-off brunch at the St. John Campus on September 15^th.  Then we’ll meet Wednesday mornings from 9-11 AM, through December 1^st.  Childcare will be provided.  Sign-ups will be held Sunday, August 29^th and Sunday, September 12^th.  Contact the church office for more information. 

Journey:  Engaging Spiritual Seekers in Life Changing Conversations, September 17^th-18^th  

            Teacher and author, Garry Poole, will lead training on how to engage spiritual seekers in life- changing conversations on September 17-18^th, at the St. John Campus.  Registration is $30, which includes the training, Garry's book, Seeker Small Groups, and snacks.  Registration begins Sunday, August 29^th at the St John Campus Reception Center and the Hobart Campus Welcome Table.We will again be sponsoring a house with Rebuilding Together on Saturday, September 18^th.  Skilled and unskilled help is needed.  Sign ups will begin September 5^th.

The Young-at-Heart (age 50 +) annual picnic will be held on September 18^th at noon at the St. John Campus.  Bring your own place setting and a dish to share.

If any of those describe you, please join us for “Welcome to Suncrest” immediately following our services in the back of the worship area Sunday, August 29^th.  

Baptism reminds us of Christ’s death, burial and resurrection and is a public expression of faith in Christ.  If you have been considering this next step and have questions, please contact Bobby Jackson.  We are also offering a Baptism class on September 5^th at 9:30 AM that will help you prepare.  To register, contact Bobby. 

Getting Started at Suncrest - Starting Point is the best place to begin your experience at Suncrest.  This 5-week group environment is a place for people with questions about faith, as well as those looking to learn about growing as a Christ-follower.  At Starting Point you’ll also learn about the next steps available for you. The next session of Starting Point begins Sunday, September 12^th, and meets at 9:30 AM during our 2^nd service.  Register by contacting Cindy Barker.
