From the parking lot to the auditorium, we strive to make a positive first impression for our guests so they will want to come back and connect with Christ.  There are over 120 volunteers on Sunday morning alone.  Many of them are serving in our First Impressions ministry.  Below are specific areas to serve in this ministry.  For more information please submit the form below and someone from the ministry will contact you.

GREETERS:  Volunteers in this ministry are essential for creating a positive first impression for all that come to worship!  Greeters are in position at the entrances 20 minutes prior to the start of services and stand ready to escort newcomers with children to the appropriate classrooms.  Volunteers serve for 30 minutes, one service per month.

USHER/SERVERS: These volunteers greet and provide bulletins to people as they enter the worship auditorium.  They may also need to assist in finding seating.  During the service these volunteers also serve communion and take up the offering.  Volunteers are asked to serve for one service per month.

HOSPITALITY-SERVERS:     Hospitality servers serve for 20-25 minutes before and after each service.  They ensure we have enough drinks and cookie trays prepared for our time of fellowship after each service.  Those who volunteer, serve one Sunday per month.

HOSPITALITY-COOKIES for OUTREACH:  Cookie bakers and providers bring cookies for our time after each service.  The cookies, coupled with the coffee and lemonade help provide an atmosphere which encourages all to linger longer and enjoy fellowship with others.

WELCOME CENTER:  The Welcome Center is designed to be a place for first time guests to receive a gift and more information about Suncrest.  Friendly volunteers are needed for 20 minutes after each service.  Those who serve at the Welcome Center, serve on a rotating basis.

RECEPTION CENTER: The reception center is our information desk.  It is a place for anyone to find needed information and register for events.  Volunteers serve at the reception during the service to provide information, help people register for events and answer the phone.
